What we do.

Mowing on a schedule that suits the season, with the trimming and edging done every visit rather than every third one. Clippings are bagged and taken away. Plenty of crews cut and leave the clippings lying in rows across the lawn, which mats the grass down and looks worse than before they turned up.

The two surfaces need completely different handling: siding gets low pressure and a cleaning solution that does the actual work, while concrete takes real pressure in overlapping passes. Hitting siding at driveway pressure is how water gets behind it, so we do not do that.
